The friendly and helpful site management provides guests with all useful information. Our pitch requests were readily accommodated.
The pitches vary in size, most of them are quite generously sized. The majority of them are gravelled, but this and... the lack of greenery between the pitches make the areas look a little dull in places, so a little more planting would be desirable.
The sanitary facilities may not be the newest, but they are generously sized, large enough even when fully occupied, function perfectly and, above all, are always clean. There is nothing to complain about.
You should make sure that you strictly adhere to the reception times on arrival. It is not possible to visit outside of these times without prior reservation. However, if you book in advance, the access key can be deposited in a safe at the entrance, which we have never seen before and is very helpful.

The sanitary facilities were always very well maintained. Very suitable for caravans and motorhomes,... less suitable for tents and in rainy weather because there is no infrastructure such as hotplates or recreation rooms for campers.
Lunchtime regulation. Arrival only possible after 15:00.
The small stretch of beach is not much to look at, it is basically a slipway for the boats. The water here is of poorer quality and the beach is musty. Presumably from the extremes of the many ducks and swans. We then cycled to Uhldingen for a swim, where there is a wonderful public beach access.
The independent restaurant (Im Vorbei) is a bit expensive for the usual standards such as Maultaschen etc. It's ok for occasional visits. The owner is very nice, but often a little over the top. Sometimes a snack bar is open next door, which is also very expensive (currywurst with bread roll €5.5).

The site could be improved with a separate area for motorhomes. The constant coming and going of this type of vehicle creates quite a disturbance.

A must outside the campsite is Bauer Möcking (approx. 3 km away on the cycle path).

The campsite is located directly on the lake and on the cycle path, road traffic is barely noticeable.
The staff on site are friendly, the sanitary facilities are spacious and very clean.
The highlight for us was the adjoining... restaurant "Im Vorbei", which we visited every evening. The very friendly owners prepare and serve great dishes.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The children had a lot of fun with the campsite vehicles and of course in the water. I wouldn't rate the sanitary facilities as they were still closed at the time. But the outdoor shower... is great if you like it cold :-). There is a bread roll service on the site or you can also have breakfast in the restaurant. The surrounding area is very nice to explore by bike, Meersburg and Überlingen can also be done with children (our 5.7). We also managed to visit Constance with the children. The campsite is clearly laid out and offers everything you need, except perhaps a functioning WLAN ;-). But that's not really a serious drawback. We particularly liked the fact that, for example, several go-karts are provided free of charge... for the children and that there is no attempt to make extra money with such "services", as is the case on other campsites. Finally, the clear layout of the campsite also benefits the family-friendliness. Although there are no shopping facilities on site, you can order bread rolls for the following day in the adjoining restaurant until the evening and ice cream from the freezer is also available for young and old. There are plenty of shops in the immediate vicinity. The point criticized by some, that no reservations are possible, speaks in my opinion rather for the place. This way you always have the chance to get something and remain flexible. That's what camping is all about and we appreciate that. We were able to choose the pitch ourselves. Plenty of space for caravan, marquise and car! It is only a 15-20 minute walk to the harbor in Unteruhldingen (good boat rental!). There are many hiking possibilities and also for cycling. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The farm store (Spargelhof) with Besenwirtschaft, is also worth mentioning. We called the campsite regularly in short intervals about 1 1/2 hours before arrival to a: find out whether a pitch was free (there... is no reservation in advance) and b: let them know that we would probably arrive at 6.30 pm sharp. Unfortunately, we didn't reach anyone. We were there on time at 18.30, but unfortunately the reception door was closed in our faces. Unfortunately, knocking and shouting didn't help. Other guests then told us to park in front of the entrance so that we could check in directly in the morning. No sooner said than done. Unfortunately, we were later chased away very rudely by the groundsman, the gentleman's manner was impossible to say the least. The pitch was relatively empty and we wouldn't have disturbed anyone outside the door. Of course we would have paid for the night.... It's a shame that this inflexibility means we won't be coming back, as there are much friendlier hosts on Lake Constance.
