Great place in the middle of nowhere
A beautiful site right on the beach in the middle of nature. Many permanent campers, but the tourist pitches are located in front of them and have a view of the coast and sea.
There is a beach bar with a snack bar on the site and scones are available at reception in the morning.
The sanitary building with kitchen and dishwashing facilities is new and well equipped by Scandinavian standards.

Very nice place and nice service, toilet and bathroom nice service house, nice area with beautiful nature, and nice footpaths and very close to bathing water.All in all, my wife and I had a very nice trip there, been there two trips now, but there will be more.Almost forgot to mention they also have... a nice bar there for well-being and relaxation, and also entertainment there from time to time in the summer.They also have a small snack place where you can buy simple dishes, all in all a very cozy experience, and as I mentioned not least because of the service there :-)

I would just like to add a few details to the perfect description by "mareve": The site is located approx. 5km south of Fredrikstad. Most of the tourist pitches are in front of the permanent campers on the beach. The site has a snack bar. During our stay, about 50% of the tourist pitches were occupied. The pitches are parceled out.

Today we went to the Bevo campsite in Norway. The approach seemed quite adventurous, was there really a campsite there? At some point we drove past the 'Camping full' sign. Hmmmm, what should we do, we drive past anyway and ask. Fortunately, the gentleman at reception told us that they still had places... available and that we could stay for two nights without any problems. The campsite had been full yesterday and they had not yet taken down the notice board. The campsite is located at the far end of a stretch of land right by the sea next to a lagoon. The nature here is beautiful and unique. The flat rocks lead directly into the sea. The water is shallow and suitable for non-swimmers. The campsite is 9/10 occupied by permanent tenants, only a few pitches (approx. 25) are tourist pitches. The playground is located on a meadow and has 11 swings. The sanitary facilities are spread over several buildings and are clean. We only found one place to wash the dishes and only one sink in the kitchen. Everyone seems to wash up in their caravans/motorhomes. In the morning we wanted to get bread rolls in the store, there was only one kind and they were always baked in advance. In general, the store is very small and the range is limited. We had a very pleasant stay in a breathtaking idyllic natural setting right by the sea Repeat factor: 95 percent.
