J M.септември 2025Позитивни-Негативи-Large square directly on Lake BalatonLarge, beautifully situated CP directly on the Balaton beach, green under many shady trees (although not in the front row). Quite large pitches. Children's swimming pool (in high season), small playground, volleyball, boules, several wash houses, mini market (open 7.40-21.30!), fruit and vegetables,... covered restaurant, hairdresser, massage on site. Coop, butcher, greengrocer and other good restaurants/bars are within walking distance. (Larger supermarket almost 20 km away!). Signposted cycle paths are available, mostly on roads and unfortunately few on the lakeshore. Excursion destinations are more likely to be reached by car. The whole site is very clean and well-kept, lots of service staff, good value for money. From September onwards it gets quieter relatively quickly, but the restaurants were still open. The cleaning staff were busy cleaning all day, but only very superficially.
The closing times of the sanitary facilities between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am are also incomprehensible.
The maintenance of the pitch by the numerous staff starts early... in the morning and is also noisy, so that we were woken up every day at 7:00 am.
Sometimes you need a very long power cable, in our case 50 meters.
The power columns only have simple Schuko sockets and each connection is fused with 16A.
CEE sockets would be desirable here.
The tarred paths on the pitch are in very poor condition and quickly become a trip hazard in the dark.
The time management in the restaurant on the campsite is not right, eating together with 2 people was rarely possible.
The entire region around Lake Balaton is completely overrated and only serves as a tourist rip-off.

The pitch was large, both caravan and tent and car fitted on it without any problems. It was 20 meters to Lake Balaton.
The sanitary facilities were cleaned around the clock and were in good order. You could eat and drink in the restaurant almost all day. The small store has everything you need on the campsite. One third of this was shaded. There was more shade in areas 07-01 (both rows 19-17).
There are a total of 3 sanitary buildings. The one in the middle also had so-called family rooms (washbasin, toilet and shower)
The toilets and showers were always clean. In fact,... the showers in the middle sanitary building had more water power, so we went there after 5 days on the site.
There are laundry facilities in all three buildings and you never had to wait.
There are also washing machines, a small store (including bread rolls), a restaurant, a bar with a café and a stall selling Baumkuchen.
For the children there is a pool with a sun sail, a playground and a separate bathing area by Lake Balaton.
You could also play table tennis, volleyball, chess and football/basketball. We were in the quieter, super shady new part of the site, which was perfect for us! We were almost on the public beach of Lake Balaton (only separated by a fence), so we had a "lake view"
The campsite has everything from a restaurant to a store, hairdresser, bike rental, pedal... boat rental etc!
The wash houses were simple (Hungarian style) but always clean and were constantly cleaned.
The campsite has its own beach and a small pool for children.
There is a train behind the campsite, but we were not bothered by the noise.

The plots are large enough and there are many shady places, the paths there a bit narrow.wash houses a bit older but well maintained and very clean.the restaurant at the campsite did... not appeal to us personally, then after the second time disappointment always drove to the 5 minutes away Révfülöp, great to reach by bike. Révfülöp is a very nice place on the water, with great restaurants and Italio Fler. The island of Tihany and Balatonfüred are also worth a visit and can be reached in 20 minutes by car
You can also explore Lake Balaton by bike from the campsite, bike path directly in front of the campsite.
Children's entertainment and access to the lake and children's pool on site.

The biggest minus point would be the train that passes by every hour or so, but only until 9.30pm. The pitches can be booked according to location and size, so something for everyone and dogs are also welcome. W-lan costs, but for 2 weeks 9 euros I think is... at least fair (low season). The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but I have never seen a campsite that is cleaned like this one. The staff start at one side, go to the next and when they are finished they start all over again. The restaurant is not the best, but you can eat reasonably well. But in 300-1000m distance there are so many good and cheap restaurants that you can always find something. Large sunbathing lawn directly on Lake Balaton, direct view of the lake and everything is cleaned and maintained around the clock (except at night). The staff, from the reception to the cleaning staff to the "gardener" are always friendly. Everything is well maintained and the toilets and showers are constantly cleaned. The pitches are parceled out and there are also nice big pitches. The beach is very clean and the water is great. The market on the site has a sufficient range of... products. We can only recommend the restaurant for drinks, as the food was unfortunately very poor and too expensive for the quality. But there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The children's entertainment is good and they come up with good ideas for the kids. The site is located on the edge of the village directly on Lake Balaton, about 200-300 m from the shore, but only about 10 m from the beach for the children, small pool, nice playground,... large pitches. We had a more inward pitch, 16A electricity connection, water was nearby, waste water in the sanitary building. The latter was always very clean and of a decent standard. The pitch was only about 1/3 full. A large and beautiful meadow in front of Lake Balaton. Although the road and railroad run directly behind the site, it was very quiet at night. We were pleasantly surprised by this, not least because we are rather sensitive in this respect. It was also very quiet at night. The town is within walking distance; good and inexpensive restaurants. Many places of interest nearby. Unfortunately, there is little information in German or English, but this was not due to the campsite, but is apparently normal there. Many Hungarian and German-speaking guests. The site was cleaned throughout the day and everything was kept in exemplary order. The restaurant on site is to be recommended. The small supermarket has everything you need if you don't want to go shopping.
