"With Aqualand theme park - incredibly full - Camping L'Hirondelle is beautifully situated - but close to Tihange. The surrounding countryside is great and the nearby towns (Huy and Namur) are well worth a visit. The hilly landscape is ideal for cyclists who like a bit of up and down. The campsite itself is huge: 90% cabins and permanent mobile homes, three plots for free campers. No parcelling out, which can be quite nice, but also invites some campers to spread out or squeeze in somewhere. Power sockets are in short supply for larger crowds. Often frequented by groups who party there because of the adjacent Aqualand. Aqualand itself is also a meeting point for day visitors from the surrounding area, which is why it is extremely crowded in hot temperatures. The same goes for the spacious playground, the snack bar, the supermarket and the toilets. The cleaning staff had a hard time keeping up with the amount of dirt. Unfortunately, the use of toilet cleaning equipment is not a matter of course for many Hirondelle guests. As a result, the toilets, which were actually in good condition, were often extremely dirty due to misuse. Conclusion: although we have nothing against noise and partying ourselves, this campsite was definitely too loud and crowded for us.

"dissatisfaction - Clean rental, only the dishes are not super clean on arrival, I think it would be necessary to check during the inventory on departure. The reception was fine, except for one person who wasn't the most gracious. Finally, I don't understand why, after an hour's visit to a holidaymaker's home, the visitor is obliged to pay for his or her vehicle and the people who come to say hello. I've never seen anything like it. Make a parking lot where visitors can leave their vehicles. In my case I wasn't coming for the pool, just to say hello and spend some time with my French family. If it had been the other way around, I would have reported it to reception. I'm outraged by this system; I've been with my family to various CapFun resorts in France and this has never happened to me. The family who came to visit us had an outside parking lot to park in and they were never asked to pay for their presence with holidaymakers from their campsite. Disgraceful.

"Nice for children because of the large playground - We were only there for one night, fortunately. Actually very nice complex with great play facilities for children, but overall very noisy even at night. Sanitary facilities clean, but totally outdated. Toilets in the recreation building stank terribly!!! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed a plug adapter... Easy to borrow for a deposit. Difficult driveway, narrow entrance

"Nice location but very noisy during my stay. - I was there for 4 nights on the occasion of the Tour de France. There was a lot of noise, even at breakfast time there was music coming from somewhere at a volume that filled the entire G area that I was allocated (where tents, caravans and motorhomes stood wildly mixed up as there was no pitch numbering). There were also only a few power connections available. I then asked to be allocated a quieter, numbered pitch in area F. I didn't find the sanitary facilities very hygienic, e.g. there were no toilet brushes to clean the toilets. They looked accordingly. On the other hand, the surrounding area is very attractive and ideal for (racing) bike excursions.

"Original, unfortunately unkempt - We stayed at the campsite in April. The pitch on the large meadow is romantic, but is spoiled by the sight of the mobile homes with wildly erected awnings. Directly opposite the sanitary building is the waste disposal area with no privacy screen. The paths have deep holes and are very poorly maintained. The swimming pool and playground will be a paradise for children when the construction work is finished.

"permanent tenant with mobile home - This campground is better than many indicate,only in good weather t is not to do,one day tourists,many invaders and smelly bbq,sorry 3 pools are then overcrowded.
